The Oceanid team has been working with Alaska’s Southeast Conference to explore CDR opportunities using the local natural, cultural, scientific, and economic resources.

The new RFP calls for:

• Developing a roadmap for turning Alaska into an mCDR research and development hub

• Using kelp as a biochar feedstock

• Kelp natural sloughing and carbon sequestration research
